Wirebox Wins at the 2025 biz4Biz Awards
On November 30th, we had the pleasure of attending the 2025 biz4Biz Awards at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel in Welwyn. It’s a stunning venue nestled in the English countryside that provides the perfect backdrop for celebrating Hertfordshire’s business excellence. Every time we go, we’re honoured to stand alongside so many other amazing businesses in the local area (and in such lovely settings).
About the biz4Biz Awards
The biz4Biz Awards are Hertfordshire’s most prestigious annual business awards programme, designed to recognise and celebrate excellence across various sectors throughout the county. We’ve been attending for several years now, and it truly stands out as one of the best award programmes for acknowledging the achievements of local businesses in Herts.
Reflecting on 2025
This year has been a particularly interesting one for Wirebox. The world is changing rapidly, especially in our technological space. AI represents another quantum leap for businesses, and we’ve had to embrace this shift head-on. For us, this has meant implementing and learning about all the new AI development tools being released. It’s an exciting time, and as a company, we recognise that embracing these changes isn’t just beneficial…it’s essential. And we’re helping our clients do the same thing.
We also celebrated some milestones in our company, like the milestone of 10 years working with Pennies and reliving our time with Goldman Sachs 10KSB as they mark 15 years as a programme.
This awards journey
The 2025 biz4Biz Awards process followed the usual structure: you submit your information through a portal and apply for your chosen category. We applied for Best Technology Company, which included an interview with some of the judges beforehand. This gave us a valuable opportunity to discuss what we’ve accomplished as a company and articulate why we deserve recognition. We find that participating in these awards provides a chance to reflect on what we’ve achieved over the year and gain recognition for milestones we’re proud of. At Wirebox, we believe we’re one of the best digital agencies of our size in the county, and these awards give us a platform to share that story with others.
On the night
Even beyond the competitive element, the event itself is a wonderful evening. Everyone really makes an occasion of it, as you can see from the snap below.
We like to attend the dinner because it’s a great chance to connect with fellow professionals and celebrate the business community in our local area. Having won previously in 2023, we knew we had a shot this year, though we were up against some exceptional companies. As one of the final awards to be announced, the anticipation was building, and when they called our name, we were genuinely shocked – so much so that it took us a while to make our way from our table at the back of the room to the stage!
The entire team was thrilled. The biz4Biz organisers put on a fantastic show, and we celebrated well into the early hours, marking another milestone in Wirebox’s journey. But we don’t want to overlook everyone in our category and all the other winners… here’s to another year of innovation, growth and excellence in Hertfordshire.
