Online Children’s Party Business Directory network
Kids Party Finder is a Community of like minded businesses working in the Children’s Party services sector across the UK. They are a network of hundreds of businesses supplying entertainment, party food, soft play equipment and bouncy castles, face painting and educational parties to every town in the UK.
The business launched in 2019, initially as a networking group of small businesses meeting in Kent to discuss opportunities and cross selling their services to existing clients. If parents are organising a party and have engaged with a Children’s DJ, why wouldn’t they want to also provide Party Cakes or a Bouncy castle to the same party?
Kids Party Finder saw impressive growth in their networking numbers and then COVID hit in late 2019 early 2020. Whilst many businesses could continue, the pandemic hit the Children’s Party sector very hard, but it was at this time the idea of bringing the networking online came to light, after all, online businesses were growing rapidly and it was a great way to increase their suppliers exposure.
Kids Party Finder engaged with Wirebox to design and develop a portal that would elevate their online exposure, increase their brand awareness but more importantly bring their clients businesses to the thousands of people searching for the services they offered.

The challenge that Wirebox accepted:
Whilst the Kids Party Finder networking groups were growing, the organisation only had a web presence when people were searching for their brand name, or “googling” the term “Kids Party Finder”. Whilst it is great to be found for the company name, it wasn’t generating organic growth for the different services their clients offered. If someone is searching for “Kids Party Finder”, they already know the organisation – whilst the offline networking was driving growth, it didn’t grow organically online.
To assist Kids Party Finder, Wirebox were challenged to design and develop an online strategy and plan to grow the website traffic for the different services outside of their brand name.
We initially focussed on what the business is and what the business offers, in the territories it offers these services.
So “Kids Party Suppliers” in the territories such as Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Kent and Surrey. Very quickly we achieved first place ranking for this term, in all of the Counties.
We followed this down to the specific towns – you can search “Kids Party Suppliers Watford” or “Childrens Party Suppliers Hemel Hempstead” – the website dominate these searches
With constant meetings and progress updates – what we heard was that the combination of the service and the location was of higher value.
An example of this “Soft play hire” and the region it is offered. So if you search today for Soft play hire and the region of West Sussex – you’ll see the website. But we wanted to expand on this – into the towns – so if you look at West Sussex as a region and used a town within, you’ll also see the site – Googling “softplay hire in horsham” – the site at the top of Google’s ranking – which gives value to the suppliers.
We are expanding this methodology across all categories and towns – whilst we can’t guarantee first place or even third place for all – what we can see is that the site has been increasing in traffic by more than 20% per month, for the last 4 months. So we know it is working and will continue to do so.

The Results:
In the first three months following the launch of the website, we grew the organic traffic to the website by 60%. We are continuing to optimise the site, make it faster for Google and maintain the software from a performance and security perspective.
