Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Impact Report: Celebrating 15 Years of Growth

Our founder, Andrew Ajoodha, was invited on the 9th of December 2025 to a celebrity evening at the House of Commons to launch the Goldman Sachs 10KSB Impact Report: Celebrating 15 Years of Growth.

As one of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme alumni from 2019, Andrew was honoured to represent the Wirebox team and their interests as a small business in the UK.

Purpose of the event

The programme began 15 years ago, and this event was held to celebrate its achievements to date and the new impact report, which highlights some of the positives from the programme so far.

The evening was at the House of Commons, which itself is a spectacular building, but Andrew recounts, “I feel, more so, that the location pushed MPs to be there; it was a sign to say, look at small businesses, they bring so much benefit to the economy. You need to help them.”

He went on to say, “The Goldman Sachs programme is great, the programme itself is very well run, and for them to be doing this in the UK for 15 years is a marvel. The companies which have benefited from joining are staggering.”

While the Goldman Sachs 10KSB programme is only a few months old, it is already focused on supporting alumni like Wirebox. From the new programmes at Sandringham or the networking events at some of the biggest companies in the world, if founders like Andrew are willing to engage in the programme, it can open many doors for their businesses.

Staggeringly, this programme has supported over 2,500 small business leaders across the UK already and its alumni collectively account for an estimated £10.6 billion in annual revenue and around 82,000 jobs

The evening was good, but Andrew states, “from the talks from various speakers, including Charlotte Keenan, Head of the Office of Corporate Engagement International and Goldman Sachs. Times have been challenging, and it is not getting easier.

He continues, “Owning a business takes a unique person. But even with its ups and downs, there is always help. Just looking at the successes in the programme, this is a great precedent for what’s needed to drive innovation forward in the UK over the long term.

I am, as always, honoured to be a part of this success story.”
