Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK has released the latest impact report on Building Small Businesses Britain.
The new report finds that the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK participants are consistently doubling revenues. They have created over 50% more jobs within two years of graduating, following the behavioural and strategic changes they implement because of the programme. Great news!
Andrew Ajoodha, Wirebox founder said “At Wirebox we are proud to support and be part of the Goldman Sachs small business program. As a fast growing small business we love to support other small and local businesses. It is hugely important, not only to us at Wirebox but for the future growth of the UK and it’s fantastic to see the success of the programme”
The report showcases the fantastic innovation and productivity of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB UK community, which Wirebox is part of. It demonstrates the impact on the wider UK economy. Specifically:
- Collectively, the UK community generates £2.8bn of revenue, and supports 40,000 UK jobs.
- Participants create 23% more jobs. They generate 25% higher revenues than similarly high-growth small businesses in the UK.
- As a direct result of the programme, controlling for their already high growth trajectory, 10KSB UK alumni have created 5,840 new jobs. This contributes an additional £307m to the UK economy.
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity. It provides greater access to education, capital and business support services.
