Wirebox in the Hertfordshire Small Business Awards

The votes are in and we’ve made it to the finals! The whole team at Wirebox is delighted to be included among the finalists at the SME Hertfordshire Business Awards 2023. And we’re eagerly awaiting the 14th of September to join with other local businesses in celebration at Tewin Bury Farm. As the sixth year running for these prestigious awards, it goes without saying that we’d be delighted to take home a category win. And we’ll be waiting breathlessly at our table for our name to be called.

Participation in local awards is critical, both as a validation of months of hard work and innovation, but also in support of our microeconomy. Every entry is judged by a panel of experts. And this year, it included leaders like Karl Spinks, Director at Wenzel’s The Bakers, Amanda Washbrook, Director of Curriculum and Business Development at West Herts College Group, Neil Kilgour, CEO of CH4B and so many more. That regional connection is so important to us as it means we’re winning the hearts and minds of the thought leaders in our very own area. Plus, becoming an award finalist (and perhaps even winning like we did earlier this year), gives our potential and existing clients more peace of mind.

A small business award is a bit of social proof. It’s a way of showcasing that we’re doing big things and getting noticed for them. And we find it gives our clients the confidence to take that next step and scope a new integration or trust us to handle their digital transformation. Every award entry process is challenging and requires us to showcase our achievements with clear, undeniable facts for judges who have no connection with Wirebox and possibly little to no understanding of how we help our clients digitally. So, when our name is called in September, we’ll be double-proud of our efforts this year.
