we create value for our clients

trimble mep: who are they?

Trimble MEP makes commercial products for the construction industry, ranging from plumbing contractor solutions, to electrical and mechanical contractor solutions, and more.

They also provide commercial training to businesses, including instructor-led classroom and onsite experiences that blend product demonstrations with hands-on exercises, and virtual instructor-led training.

Unlike the sales of their products, the educational and training side of the business is limited to the number of courses they can sell, per training session.

In order for a session to provide value, ideally, the class numbers shouldn’t exceed twelve participants. The courses and the data are sold throughout the business, and they’re managed in a customised version of Salesforce.

Trimble MEP’s biggest issue was overselling the courses: what if the sales team sold twelve courses, and the website also sold twelve courses on the same day?

what wirebox did:

Wirebox developed a two way communication link from Trimble MEP’s Magento website directly into Salesforce, with a real time link that updated both Salesforce, the website, and real time course availability.

In addition, we integrated the contact and enquiry forms on the website directly into Salesforce, to allow the business to view and manage leads and enquiries.

what else did we do?

We developed Trimble MEP’s website in Drupal. They requested a multi-language, multi-regional site that interacted with their CRM system, and their Magento site. Once complete, every aspect of the website could be viewed in six different languages:

  • English,
  • French,
  • Dutch,
  • Austrian,
  • And Swiss (two variations).
how we helped:

Once the new website went live, Trimble MEP saw a rise in their web traffic, a lower bounce rate, and higher rankings on Google. In addition, we also delivered:

  • Mobile Optimisation,
  • Search Engine Optimisation
